Funds of European Cooperation organizes internships for your field of study or professional activity in Moscow and Saratov, Russia. Internships are organized individually, according to your particular wishes and requirements of your school. Internships are a great way to gain work experience while improving your Russian language skills. The most often offered internships are: Management & Marketing, Construction, Engineering, Food & Business, Gastronomy, Journalism, Culture, Education, Hotel and Restaurant, Theater, Museums, Trade, and Translations. Russian experience is usually very valued by European employers, so this is a great opportunity to add it to your resume. General Information: Internships are generally 2-24 weeks in duration and are offered year round. Internships are non salaried positions. College credit for internships must be arranged by the intern, but the staff will assist in complying with school requirements for written evaluations and other documentation. Additional Information: Besides arranging an internship placement for you, we will make all the visa arrangements (as there is an individual invitation issued for you), we will book the accommodation and the other necessary help (like meeting at the airport, arranging cultural excursions, etc.) Location Information: Moscow is the capital of Russia and of Moscow region and the administrative center of the Central district, central European Russia, on the Moskva River near its junction with the Moscow Canal. Moscow is Russia's largest city and a leading economic and cultural center. The hub of the Russian railroad network, Moscow is also an inland port and has several civilian and military airports. Moscow's major industries include machine building, metalworking, oil refining, publishing, brewing, filmmaking, and the manufacture of machine tools, precision instruments, building materials, automobiles, trucks, aircraft, chemicals, wood and paper products, textiles, clothing, footwear, and soft drinks. Saratov is a city located in the Volga river. It is a major industrial, transportation, and cultural center of the lower Volga region. Its river port is a transfer point for the agricultural products of the lower Volga valley and for petroleum from Baky. Saratov's industries produce precision instruments, building materials, machine tools, and electric generators. There are oil refineries, flour mills, sawmills, furniture and chemical factories, and gas plants. It lies in a picturesque basin and is one of the historical centers of Russia: in the heart of Russia, 852 km away from Moscow.
