Australia's endless sun-baked horizons, rugged desert outback, dense tropical rain forests, and beautiful beaches make it a nature-lovers paradise. Its Cosmopolitan cities combine a classic European enthusiasm for food and art with a well-known affinity for sport and the outdoors. Its people are as diverse as its ecosystems but are generally regarded as friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic, and adventurous.

When you think Australia, think BIG. There are lots of places to see and lots of things to do but its important to realize that time is of the essence when planning. (Australia is the 6th largest country in the world, just behind the U.S. and Brazil.) With that in mind, there is something for everyone. The thrill seeking, adrenaline junkie will find skydiving, bungee jumping, Aussie rules football, top-notch scuba diving, and world-class surfing.

The nature enthusiast will enjoy the extraordinary variety of endemic plant and animal species including the popular kangaroo, koala, dingo, wombat, and the myriad of marine life found in the Great Barrier Reef just off Australia's northeast coast. Australia's large urban centers including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth will provide the metropolitan traveler with an enchanting nightlife and outstanding cultural happenings in an accessible, up-beat environment.

The internship program offers candidates in all fields an opportunity to gain professional experience in their area. The positions are available in all major cities of Australia. We ensure that you will be placed in a position that is compatible with your employment and/or educational history. Internships are possible in almost every field, including graphic design companies, in linguistics, marine science, photography, engineering, law and many more!

We are neither a language school nor a travel agent we're a hybrid of the two, a language travel organization. AmeriSpan has evaluated hundreds of schools, host families and destinations to determine which programs to offer. Our independence allows us to give you unbiased evaluations of the programs.
