Description: Lend a hand at one of India's most dynamic women's empowerment projects. You may choose to be involved with any of their many programs:
1) Family counseling center and shelter
2) Women's development
3) STD/HIV/AIDS Prevention and control among slum dwellers
4) STD/HIV/AIDS Prevention among women in prostitution
5) Prevention of traffiking in women and children (relief and rehabilitation)
This program is flexible! Volunteers determine start and end dates.

Typical Volunteer: There is no typical ELI volunteer. We work with people from all over the world and a variety of backgrounds. ELI has placed volunteers ranging in age from 18-81. Successful volunteers are flexible, upbeat, energetic, and inquisitive.

Age Range: 18 and up
