Description:
Host Organization Description: After school education centre for children and teenagers created in 1969 with the aim of promoting education and recreational activities among the youngsters of the neighbourhood. The centre offers a wide variety of artistic and cultural workshops for children aged 3 to 10, and for teenagers aged 11 to 18. During the summer months they organize summer camps and special programs. Internship Description: You will help the monitors organize the workshops, activities and games, plan the daily activities, look after the children, and you will also bring in new ideas. The areas covered by the activities are very varied and include theatre, dance, painting, hand crafts, literature, board games, sports, etc.
Highlights:
Internship Objective: The objective of this internship position is that you gain further experience in the field of after school education and that you become familiar with the language and the Spanish and Catalan cultures while you cooperate with the organization of the after school activities.
Qualifications:
Internship requirements: For this internship placement you need to have studies and/or experience in the field of Education, good skills working with children and teenagers, and to be proactive and creative. Language requirements: Intermediate level of Spanish.
