Description: Magazines and newspapers in India are offering work experience for graduates and those with a solid background or experience in the media industry. You may be involved in research, editing, writing stories, features and conducting interviews. This project requires independent self- starters that can be pro-active in finding stories at times when there are no specific assignments available. This will be a great one to add depth to your CV and will be a fascinating way to learn about how the industry works in another country.

Highlights: The magazine is looking for graduates in a media-related field, who have considerable experience in media. You need to show a lot of initiative, because the project staff are very busy and you will be expected to research and write articles independently. You should be prepared for a fluctuating level of work and be flexible to adapt to whatever projects are being undertaken. In order to get the most out of your project, you should be positive, enthusiastic and proactive.

With your native English language skills and experience of the Western media, you'll bring a unique insight and a fresh perspective to the projects. In exchange, you will gain specific and valuable work experience, a useful understanding of the Indian culture and will also get the opportunity to improve your skills in a variety of areas.
