University Seville - Intern and Study for Credit or Audit
Spain
- Seville:
Seville (Sevilla)
Term: Academic Year, Fall, Spring
Description:
Live and experience the culture of Spain while earning university credit or simply attend the classes and forgo the exams. Also, improve your Spanish on a professional level while interning in a Sevillian firm or NGO. Within the historic Spanish University of Seville international students come through BEST from all parts of the world in order to study business and tourism. You may elect up to 15 credits per semester undertaking classes and doing an internship within a Spanish company or humanitarian organization. You decide whether you are going to take the exams or simple audit the courses. The program begins with a preparatory Spanish course, in the nation's capital, which is surprisingly affordable and allows you to ease your way into Spanish language immersion. Seville University is located right in the center of historical Seville and the institution of study is the most prestigious in the region of Andalucia. The languages of instruction are Spanish and English. Students who spend an academic term abroad can typically earn between 3 and 15 university credits. For some students, internships also supplement academic classes and, in some cases, earn college credit. The number of credits elected is up to you to decide depending on the balance you need between classes and the internship. The internship is a pre-professional work experience which is unpaid, and provides graduates, pre-graduates, and those seeking to change careers with the opportunity to gain experience in a particular career field. You have the opportunity to improve your foreign language skills on a practical professional level while trying out a new job without making a permanent commitment.
