Description:
Internships are available around the world in a variety of fields. Education, environment, Journalism, Art, Health and Social Service, and International business organizations are some of the most prominent offerings. Internship conditions vary depending on the ability of the host organization to provide compensation. Each internship position description has an individual description of the organization, job duties, compensation, and monthly budget estimates.
Highlights:
Sample internship projects include: * Teaching English at a bilingual school in Guadalajara, Mexico * Environmental internships on the Galapagos Islands * Working on public health initiatives in Ghana * Assisting with women's issues in Malaysia
Qualifications:
Students must be enrolled at one of the partner universities. There are qualifications for each individual internship. For more information visit your office of international programs on campus. IE3 Global Internships's Mission Statement: IE3 Global Internships is a program of the Oregon University System. It is open to students at public universities in Oregon and partner universities.
IE3's mission is to provide high quality international internship experiences ranging from 10 weeks to 6 months. The program provides placement, advising, pre-departure orientation, and insurance. Students earn academic credit at their home institution while abroad. This is included in the program fee.
