Description: NIK-LAS (Nikitas Language Abroad Schools) is seeking strong leaders to serve as Interns. The Intern will provide support to the NIK-LAS staff in carrying out all activities and support services affecting the NIK-LAS programs in Cadiz and Seville, Spain.

Internships are custom designed and provided by NIK-LAS, an Educational Travel Organization. You may combine it with any other NIK-LAS programs. The internships will be arranged for a minimum of six weeks or a maximum 8 months in duration. Internships are available year round beginning anytime. Lead-time must be approximately 4 months to select a suitable internship. Internships are for approximately 20 hours each week, broken up where students can enjoy their free time while meeting their Internship obligations.

Responsibilities
- Perform various administrative duties and special projects relevant to skills set. Cooperates with staff as a member of the team, and serves as the liaison to students.
-Work closely with our Lodging to assure smooth functioning and care of the residents and the facility and participate in other necessary administrative tasks.
- Designed Project that last throughout the program that fits skill-set or interest of the individual intern.

Highlights: We are flexible when it comes to designing a program. We allow Interns to design their own stay in Spain. The Internship duration is flexible, with program lengths of 6 weeks or over 6 months

The following services are included in the fees for an internship:
- Arrangement of placement in an internship in accordance with the intern's specifications.
- Living accommodations in a shared apartment. Live like a Spaniard with a Spanish roommate or in a shared apartment with other NIK-LAS candidates.
- You will be met at the airport, Train or Bus Station when you arrive in Cadiz or Seville, Spain, and taken directly to your apartment. 6 weeks of intensive Spanish language classes are included in the fee

Compensation:
- You will gain real, specific international work experience in Spain and huge potential to upgrade CV/Resume with International exposure.
- Language Certification for those who complete language studies
- Some may be eligible to receive credits for this program.

Qualifications: General Qualifications

Qualifications
Studies: Admin (Hospitality), Communications, Business, Management, Foreign Language, Marketing, Ad, Hotel/Hospitality, or Tourism

Language Required: English and Spanish. Knowledge of the Spanish language will enable you to communicate sufficiently and succeed in the internship. If you are a beginner or low intermediate, you may participate in our Spanish Language Course before starting the internship.
Computing: Word, Excel, and Outlook Express...

Additional Qualifications:
- Prior experience of work with educational, travel, residential or other programs, such as school, study abroad or summer programs is a plus but not required.

- Prior experiences of work-study or travel in the country of destination (i.e. Spain). Examples include travel and participation in student exchange, study or home stay programs. This is a plus but not required.
