In addition to Central College Abroad's traditional fall and spring internship programs, students have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in London during the summer. The internship program is geared toward undergraduate students and recent grads wishing to gain work experience in a dynamic, vibrant city. We offer an extensive network of internship sites in wide variety of disciplines: art, business, politics, marketing, theatre, social services, and more. Participants will get a taste of real-life work in a truly vibrant European city. All internship students stay in our central London residence, Vandon house, located only a two-minute walk from such attractions as Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, St. James' Park and the Houses of Parliament.

Qualifications:
In addition to the general application, students must complete the internship application. After acceptance, students must then submit two letters of reference, a cover letter, and resume.

Cost Include Description:
The eight-week program fee includes the following: - 6 semester hours of credits (pass/no record): 3 internship credits and 3 cross-cultural credits - Accommodation in Vandon House with daily continental breakfast - Use of the facilities-full kitchen, library, lounge, PCs - On-site advising and oversight with London program director and staff - Full orientation including guided city tour and evening "Ghost Walk" - Day excursion to Stonehenge and the ancient Roman city of Bath - Two-month Travelcard for Zones 1 & 2 on London underground and buses ($250-$300 value) - Two theatre visits - Lectures on contemporary British events - International Student House Membership (leisure and gym facilities) - International Student Indentification Card (ISIC) - Transcript - Optional activities are organized
