Internships in Berlin
Germany
Term: Fall, Spring, Summer, Throughout the year, Winter
Dates: January to December
Description:
Studienforum Berlin arranges unpaid internships in Berlin covering a wide range of academic disciplines. It provides a native German speaker as on-site administrator who supervises the internship progress and work assignments. If required, SFB cooperates with the student's home institution with regard to the credits. Internships can be combined with prior language instruction. The courses offered are to improve the German language skills to enhance students' chances for being accepted by attractive sites. Furthermore, the better the language proficiency, the higher the effectiveness throughout the internship.
Highlights:
Internships are with attractive public and private institutions. Combination of language instruction and internship is possible. Students will experience contemporary German life and culture. Excursions and field trips in the Berlin area to sites of historical and cultural importance are an integral component of the program. Excursions to sites outside of the Berlin area (e.g. to Dresden, Weimar, Prague) are optional. Studienforum Berlin cooperates with the Summer and Winter Programs of George Mason University, West Chester University, the Universities of Richmond and Rochester, UCLA, as well as VMI.
