Description: Experience life abroad and build your resume at the same time! Choose from placements in London, England; Sydney, Australia; Barcelona, Spain; Florence, Italy; Dublin, Ireland; Buenos Aires, Argentina and throughout France. CCI internships offer college students and recent grads valuable cross cultural immersion and practical experience in international fields. An internship abroad is an excellent way to get an edge in today's global market. You may even be able to receive college credit for your internship.

Participants intern in a business or organization related to their course of study while living with a screened host family. Some locations offer accommodation in shared apartments, and in all locations interns may elect to find their own housing. All placements are voluntary and interns should expect to participate in the internship 30-40 hours per week.

Highlights: Cultural immersion through the homestay experience + excellent practical experience in international fields!

Qualifications: Background (college major/minor) in internship area requested. Previous work or travel experience desirable but not required. Second language skills are required in locations where a foreign language is spoken.

    Center for Cultural Interchange's Mission Statement: Founded in 1985, the Center for Cultural Interchange (CCI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of cultural understanding, academic development and world peace. Based in Chicago, Illinois, CCI organizes cultural exchange programs for participants of all ages, including high school abroad, independent homestay, internship, language study, eco-tours and volunteer programs in over thirty countries around the world.
