The Paris Internship Program offers a semester or academic year of study and work in the famously romantic and international city of Paris, France. The program combines an internship with intensive French language study and liberal arts courses. Courses in both tracks are taught by French faculty from local universities and private colleges.

The Paris Internship Program offers a semester of study and work in Paris, the hub of French and European business and culture. The program combines an internship with intensive French-language study and liberal arts courses. Courses designed specifically for students in the Boston University program are taught by French faculty from local universities and private colleges. Upon successful completion of a semester, students earn 16 Boston University credits.
After an orientation period, students enroll in three courses and begin the internship placement process. Students are initially placed into one of two language courses, depending on their language proficiency, plus two seminars.
During the second half of the semester, students participate in local business life through internships. Students attend internships full time, Monday through Friday, while also attending individual writing tutorials, which monitor progress in the drafting of a final internship report.
Qualifications / Skills Needed:
To be eligible, all applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in their major.
The Paris Internship Program is open to students who have completed four or more semesters of college-level French language, or the equivalent, with grades of B or better.
Language screening interviews may be required.

Cost Includes: Costs include tuition, housing, and internship placement. Participants pay for their own daily meals and for their own trans-Atlantic flights, and are assessed a book/activities fee in Paris, covering costs of materials and group outings.
