Description:
AIU's internship program offers students an incredible opportunity to excel in a global work environment. Internships with leading employers such as Citibank, the BBC, Burberry Retail and International Marketing Partners provide interns with hands-on work experience that can make their resumes stand out to future employers. The program begins with an orientation to the U.K. workplace, where each intern is assigned a faculty member who serves as a facilitator throughout the internship. Students meet on a periodic basis with the faculty member to assess the intern's contribution and progress. These meetings also serve as an opportunity for students to address specific issues in the work environment and receive constructive feedback from the faculty member.
Highlights:
AIU's internship program is structured so that students may choose full-time or part-time undergraduate or full-time graduate (MBA) placement for academic credit. Full-time interns must enroll in one elective class. Part-time interns must take at least one class. Located in the heart of London, the AIU campus offers a true multicultural learning environment. The student body and faculty represent over 100 countries. Furnished apartment-style housing is in surrounding neighborhoods. A large activities calendar is planned each quarter, including opportunities to explore London, the UK, and Europe.
